FAQ FROM DISNEYLAND:
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
We want to assist you better by answering some frequently asked questions that might come up during the planning phase.
ARE GRAD NITE TICKETS REFUNDABLE OR REPLACEABLE?
Grad Nite 2022 event tickets are date and ticket type-specific. Event tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and will not be replaced if damaged, expired, lost, or stolen. Once purchased we cannot accommodate date changes, ticket type changes, upgrades, or refunds so please order your ticket quantities accurately.
CAN I BRING FACTORY-SEALED WATER BOTTLES TO GRAD NITE?
Students and chaperones are welcome to bring empty reusable personal bottles as long as they are not made of glass. Water fountains are conveniently located throughout the Disneyland® Resort and bottle-filling stations are available in select locations. If you wish to use disposable cups at drinking fountains, feel free to request them from the nearest restaurant or snack shop – at no extra charge.
CAN I BRING FOOD TO GRAD NITE?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted at Grad Nite 2022. Please leave all outside food and beverages behind.
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE WITH SPECIAL DIETARY REQUESTS?
Special dietary requests–including food allergies, food intolerances, kosher meals, and medically restricted diets–can often be accommodated at most table-service restaurants and select quick-service locations. Vegetarian options and Kosher meals are available at most restaurants and select locations. Inquire at time of purchase.
CAN I BRING EPI-PENS, ANTIHISTAMINES, AND ASTHMA MEDICATIONS INTO THE PARKS?
Yes. You can bring EpiPens, antihistamines, and asthma medications into Disney Theme Parks. Please inform the Cast Member who checks your bag that you or someone in your group has an allergy and you require medically necessary items.
We ask that all prescription and over-the-counter medication for students be in its original pharmacy container or original labeled container and carried in by a chaperone from the school through the Resort security screening area. Medication may be given back to the student after clearing the security screening process. Any medication needing refrigeration may be stored at Disney California Adventure® Park First Aid.
WILL FACE COVERINGS BE REQUIRED? WILL ARRIVAL AND SECURITY PROTOCOLS BE DIFFERENT?
We are taking steps to welcome groups to Grad Nite 2022 in a deliberate manner with health and safety, and the experience of all guests in mind. Please also visit Disneyland.com/updates for important information about visiting the Disneyland® Resort, including the latest on required face coverings.
WHAT IF I NEED TO RENT A WHEELCHAIR OR ECVs (ELECTRIC CONVEYANCE VEHICLES)?
Attendees are encouraged to bring and use their ECVs and wheelchairs throughout the Disneyland® Resort. ECVs and wheelchairs may not be reserved. Please plan to arrive early as a limited number of ECVs and wheelchairs are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests must be 18 years of age to operate and a photo ID is required to rent ECVs.
WHICH STUDENTS SHOULD BE PERMITTED TO ATTEND GRAD NITE 2022?
All students attending Grad Nite must be members of your school/organization who are graduating high school seniors in good standing. As a suggested guideline for schools, students who have been recommended for expulsion or who have had serious disciplinary action are not considered “students in good standing” and therefore should not be permitted to participate in Grad Nite.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE EVENT?
Children of Attendees will not be allowed to attend regular theme park hours or the Grad Nite private event using any type of Grad Nite ticket package (i.e., paid student, paid chaperone, or complimentary chaperone ticket). If an Attendee is seen with a child during the Grad Nite private event, they will be asked to leave immediately. Please plan an alternate care method for children while attending Grad Nite 2022. No exceptions.
ARE UNREGISTERED SCHOOLS ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE EVENT?
The Grad Nite private event is a special ticketed event for eligible Attendees from registered schools and is not open to the general public or any other students, parents, chaperones, or guests arriving at the Resort without a Grad Nite ticket.
CAN GRADUATES FROM 2020 AND 2021 ATTEND IN 2022?
Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate graduates from years we did not hold Grad Nite events due to park closures. Event tickets are subject to availability for the Class of 2022.
