All PCLC high school core classes and most electives are A-G approved by UC Doorways. 

 

When a course is determined to be A-G approved, it means that the course has been reviewed and recognized by the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) systems as meeting their specific academic standards for college readiness.

The "A-G" refers to the seven subject areas required for UC and CSU admissions:

• A: History/Social Science

• B: English

• C: Mathematics

• D: Laboratory Science

• E: Language Other than English

• F: Visual and Performing Arts

• G: College-Preparatory Elective
