Science Olympiad at PCLC
Science Olympiad is a program dedicated to promoting STEM through dynamic and competitive events. Competitions are like a track meet, but for science and engineering. For nearly 8,000 middle and high school teams across the U.S. they provide 23 teamwork-based events that students can opt to compete in.


Build Events
Focused on engineering and design. Season is spent prototyping and testing the chosen device to meet strict requirements and performance at the competition.

Lab Events
Fast-paced challenges with a real lab where students to conduct live experiments, analyze data, solve crimes, or crack encrypted code.

Study Events
Academic tests on specific science topics. The season is spent researching, taking practice tests, making inferences, and creating a reference binder for tournament day.
